Small Block Ford X Short Blocks are available in 306, 331, 347, 363 cubic inch sizes. The D.S.S. Racing Extreme X series short blocks are geared  toward the serious street or sportsman racer who is needing the strength of an aftermarket 4 bolt block without the maintenance an all out competition style engine requires. Extreme X engines are strong enough to support high levels of horsepower but in most applications are very well suited for street / strip higher mileage cars. Extreme X engines are commonly used in high horsepower power adder 8, 9 and 10 second street able cars or severe duty road race / circle track applications. An engine like this is ideal for big boost and nitrous - do not forget that you have to have a strong enough engine to put up with your power adder. Having a top of the line power adder will only work if you match it with a engine of equal or better quality.
